In this decade, our first two factories are built, with a total area 5,500m2. Casademont becomes the first brand to market fuet nationwide.

A decade later, and in response to the growing market demand, it is decided to expand the Sant Gregori facilities to 25,000m2.

During the 1980s, the company invests heavily in the brand, the first fuet commercials begin to be broadcast nationwide, followed by mortadella, cooked ham and salchichón.

During this period, Casademont becomes one of the leading brands of processed meats in the country.

Since we started making fuet and other sausages in a small workshop in the mid-20th century, we have always worked to maintain a balance between tradition and innovation. Thanks to this tandem, today we can offer you the products that best suit your needs, with the usual flavour and quality.

In the continuous improvement that we strive for, Costa Food Group has played a fundamental role. The group has all the infrastructure to guarantee a controlled circular process, which includes the preparation of natural and balanced feed, the care of the animals in integrated farms, the transformation and the preparation of products in companies such as Casademont, this being the final phase of this process.

We are committed to quality, understood as the excellence of the product in terms of taste, texture and properties, but also as a way of being. For this reason, all our products have the AENOR Conform Animal Welfare certification, which guarantees respectful animal husbandry. In addition, our R&D department works on the development of new products and new presentations that adapt at all times to consumer habits, without forgetting our commitment to society and the planet. For this reason, we study the most sustainable packaging options, prioritizing those that are recyclable.

We begin to export Casademont products abroad, becoming present in more than 50 countries on different continents.

Casademont becomes part of the Costa Food Group, a holding company that began life as Piensos Costa, a company created in 1967, dedicated to the purchase and sale of cereals and the manufacture of excellent quality feed. This is the first link in a fully controlled process that goes from feeding and caring for the animals that are raised on the farms that are part of the group, to the production of products in companies such as Casademont.

We relaunch some of our most emblematic products, such as fuet, with new recipes and new presentations. All with the aim of adapting to the habits of consumers, who are looking for healthier and more sustainable products, while maintaining the same flavour as always.
In addition, we incorporate the AENOR Conform Animal Welfare certification, granted to the entire group.

The integration into Costa Food Group allows the reorganization of the company's activity. Thus, the Casademont facilities in Palol de Revardit, dedicated to curing hams, are transformed into a factory for cured sausages, with a capacity for more than 3,000 tonnes. Together with the Sant Gregori plant, they have a surface area of 40,000 m2 with a production capacity of 25,000 tonnes per year.
